INTRO TO HYPNOBIRTHING (FOR STUDENT MIDWIVES) COURSE
I was lucky enough to attend one of the MummaPod 'Intro to Hypnobirthing' courses as a student midwife. It was so engaging, a true eye-opener and has really helped me to block out some of the noise during midwifery training and made me focus on the type of midwife I want to become.
Mary Anne is a completely brilliant teacher, and guide, for all things birth and I have absorbed so many little gems from her.
I highly recommend taking the chance, as a student midwife, to join one of her courses!

As a student midwife, I wanted to immerse myself and gain better understanding of hypnobirthing, with all the incredible benefits it can bring to women and birthing people, in all aspects of their pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey. I found it quite hard to find courses affordable and suitable for student midwives. I was lucky enough to have trained with Mary-Anne for a short while, and so when I heard she was facilitating a hypnobirthing session specifically for STMWs, and because I knew her friendly face, it felt much more personal. Mary-Anne was absolutely brilliant leading the session, it was extremely informative and full of ideas for us to take with us on our journey to becoming future Midwives. She was completely her natural self, down to earth and had the humour to match. Iād absolutely consider doing it again potentially as a refresher too! Thanks so much!

Brilliant session for student midwives! Mary-Anne talked me though the hypnobirthing techniques that can help me better support women in labour and birth. I am now also aware of what to expect from women who are using hypnobirthing as part of their birth plan, and can therefore ensure I support them accordingly. Highly recommended!
